The “Hook-In” is a fun, family-friendly day to view the works in the “Off the Hook” exhibition, to see artists at work on hundreds of hook rugs, and try rug hooking while learning about the tradition. Hands-on activities for all ages will be featured along with vendors and demonstrations. The day features an 11:00 a.m. presentation by Gail Dufresne, National Association of Traditional Hooking Artists President on "Our Rug Hooking Heritage.” “Off the Hook” is organized by the Atlanta Dogwood Association of Hooking Artists in partnership with the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center. ArtWorks! Gwinnett serves as promotional partner.
