Is it art?

"Condi says Quiet" by Cecelia Kane is made from acrylic and marker on cotton glove. It's part of a series called Hand-to-Hand on view at The Contemporary through Jan. 7. Since the beginning of the Iraq War, Kane has been painting a glove nearly every day based on that day's headlines. The artist will give a lecture and performance Nov. 19 at 4 p.m.
