Fri., April 15: The Coathangers play the record release party for their fifth album, Nosebleed Weekend (Suicide Squeeze), at Star Bar. Paint Fumes, Bad Spell, and Paralyzer join in the fun. $15. 8 p.m.

Sat., April 16: It’s Record Store Day. Little Five Points will be swarming with folks in a vinyl shopping feeding frenzy. Once the dust settles at Criminal Records, the Coathangers take the stage at 9 p.m. to keep the Nosebleed Weekend going. Attention kids: This is an all-ages show, and it’s free to everyone who purchases a copy of the special edition R. Land version of Nosebleed Weekend at Criminal. More guest performers will be announced soon.

Sun., April 17: Ease your way into Sunday. Head over to Elmyr and grab a Bloody Mary with the Coathangers, as the group takes over its favorite neighborhood burrito bar. The evening promises drink specials, full DJ sets by the band, and screenings of videos spanning the group’s career. “Hurricane,” “Watch Your Back,” “Nosebleed Weekend,” and more will be projected on the big screen.
