The King-Keith House was built circa 1890 by George E. King, local hardware magnate and owner of Atlanta’s King Hardware. He and his large family, including his six daughters, lived in Inman Park during its early origins. The brightly colored, magnificently restored Victorian mansion, surrounded by homes in the High Victorian Queen Anne, late Victorian Colonial, and Classical Revival styles, boasts 12-foot ceilings, carved fireplaces, a baby grand piano, and one of the most photographed parlors in Atlanta.
