Klimchak's Lebeato Lounge

Klimchak's Lebeato Lounge is the debut of a series of new percussion pieces composed for homebuilt instruments with lights embedded in them. Music to be performed: WaterWorks – metal instruments dipped into an illuminated amplified bowl of water and struck. The piece also utilizes a battery-powered theremin. Synesthesia-4 percussionists with multicolored LED flashlights and chanted vocals, whose text is the color of the flashlights. PlumbLine - a 10 foot piece of PVC with holes, like a giant flute. The players play notes by hitting the holes with large rubber mallets. Performers are Stuart Gerber, Isaac Anderson, Olivia Kieffer and Klimchak.
