Habitat for Humanity International, Random House Books for Young Readers, and Little Shop of Stories will host a special reading of “The Carpenter’s Gift: A Christmas Tale About The Rockefeller Center Tree." The picture book is inspired by the annual donation of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree to Habitat for Humanity, which then mills the tree into lumber it uses to help build affordable homes. Children in attendance will receive a Christmas tree sapling to take home
