A band of mismatched cartoon stereotypes embarks on an ultraviolent slapstick quest to retrieve a stolen hammer at the APRIL 1 world premiere of CARTOON by Atlanta playwright Steve Yockey. Adam Fristoe directs an ensemble of (intentionally) two-dimensional caricatures performed by Out of Hand Theatre’s Brian Crawford, Ariel de Man, Rebecca Dutton, Maia Knispel, Theroun Patterson, Angela Porter, J. Joe Sykes and Geoff Uterhardt. Expect something along the lines of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Only completely different. $12-$35.
