History can be a flexible thing. Nothing proves that point better than former Atlantan David Zeiger's new film, SIR! NO SIR!. While popular history tells us it was the dirty, filthy hippies who made Vietnam-era protests so ugly, Zeiger's revisionist history shows that, in fact, a huge opposition to the war came from the fighting men and women themselves, who witnessed horrific atrocities and fought to end the war through the powerful GI anti-war movement. Zeiger and Jane Fonda, who is interviewed in Sir! No Sir! (see Flicks), will appear MAY 12 for a Q&A in conjunction with the film's Atlanta premiere. $8.50. Q&A between 7 and 9:40 p.m. shows Fri., May 12. Zeiger also will be appearing at the Sat., May 13, evening shows. Landmark Midtown Art Cinemas, 931 Monroe Drive. 404-872-5796.
