The Mayor’s Ball was a semi-star studded event attended by Michael Lomax (CEO of UNCF), Gary Peacock(CEO of Suntrust), comedian Chris Tucker and many others. The event started in the VIP lounge at the Mariott where honorary awards were given. Former mayor Shirley Franklin and Mayor Kasim Reed both gave speeches before one of the night’s highlights, the Parade of Masks.
