ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME, a visual art and performance exhibition looks at both the objectification and romanticization of ideologies in contemporary consumer culture. Yoon Kyoung Nam presents vibrant, moody works on paper and Yoonhwa Jang shows canvases whose characters are disguised by Asian and Western iconic symbols. Chanel Kim and Zopi Kristjanson will perform as emcee duo Tiger Moon at the opening and closing receptions. Their performance, exploring the gangster, the samurai andj Asian and feminine identies, incorporates the beats of Chris Devoe in the setting of an installation of hanging scrolls and a large-scale mobile.
