Presenting three one-act operas by Milton Granger featuring participants in the 2013 Harrower Summer Opera Workshop, with W. Dwight Coleman, stage director, and Christy Lee, music director.
Benedicta, a serious one-act opera based on a short story by Sarah Braunstein, set in an assisted living facility. In the comic opera Angry Birdsong, Dulcine, a shy agronomy technology researcher, seeks advice for a presentation describing her company's new soybean varieties. In The Proposal, also a comic opera, an attractive businesswoman struggles with how to answer a marriage proposal and calls a meeting of her five alter egos to get their advice.
