MLK Jr Day March 

The 2011 King Day March was kicked off with King's son Martin Luther King the Third and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed leading marchers down Peachtree Street.
Members of the Kalonji Brotherhood from the Trinity House, a transitional house for homeless Atlantans, warm up before the march. "This is just giving us hope for another day," said Khalil Kalonji one of the members of the group.
Two hundred and fifty students from Martin Luther King, Jr high school in Decatur came out to participate in the march. The Dekalb County school is the only high school in the state named after Martin Luther King, Jr.
