ERIC CLAPTON, DOYLE BRAMHALL II — Now that Clapton’s gotten that nasty blues out of his system on last year’s B.B. King collaboration, it’s back to snooze-ville as his pleasant, but hardly inspiring Reptile album slithers into familiar adult-pop terrain. Live there’ll surely be more raw fret firepower, especially since tough Texas blues-rock opener and Clapton band member Bramhall’s hot new album is a rough-and-tumble corker.
