Monster mash

No entertainment in Atlanta offers more Halloween tricks and treats than THE GHASTLY DREADFULS' COMPENDIUM OF GRAVEYARD TALES AND OTHER CURIOSITIES. Created by Jon Ludwig and Jason von Hinezmeyer, the production features puppets in seven blood-curdling, rib-tickling tales that mix original works with adaptations from the likes of Mark Twain and The Monkey's Paw author W.W. Jacobs. Between stories, the Ghastly Dreadfuls band (right) performs such seasonal songs as "Zombie Jamboree" and "Beware the Blob!" You just might die laughing. Through OCT. 29. $16-$22. Thurs.-Fri., 8 p.m.; Sat., 8 and 11 p.m.; Sun., 5 p.m. Center for Puppetry Arts, 1404 Spring St. 404-873-3391.
