An after-hours screening of Black Gold, the internationally acclaimed documentary that explores the coffee industry – from the farmers’ crops to your cup – followed by a discussion with the founders of Georgia’s own Cooperative Coffees, importer of fair trade green coffee beans to a cooperative network of 23 community-based roasters (including Café Campesino) located throughout the United States. Market vendors, including Grindhouse Burgers, Metro Deli, and Ciao Bocca will be selling food, and 5 Seasons Westside will be providing beer. Presented by the Atlanta Audubon Society, Café Campesino, Slow Food Atlanta, and the Green City Market.
