The ATLANTA JAZZ FESTIVAL promises 31 days of music, but really the heart of the action centers around Memorial Day weekend, when the cream of the festival's crop invades Woodruff Park from Sat.-Mon., MAY 24-26, for three days of intensive jazz music. Saturday's lineup (with its international theme) includes Genetic Drift, Bernard Linnette featuring Charito, and Serenata Band, while Sunday ("Atlanta Legends") offers up Kemba Cofield and Ojeda Penn. Monday ("Atlanta Young Guns") concludes with Ron James, Mike Phillips and Jaspects. Free. 2-10 p.m. Woodruff Park, 84 Peachtree St. 404-853-7248. www.atlantafestivals.com.
