Music: Corndogorama

Thurs., July 12

CORNDOGORAMA, the ingenious brainchild of Day Mars Ray leader David Railey, returns for its 11th year Thurs.-Sun., JULY 12-15, at Lenny's Bar. It's one of the year's biggest local-music showcases, featuring dozens of Atlanta bands (along with a few national ones). Highlights include Gentleman Jesse and His Men and the Coathangers on Friday; Snowden, the Selmanaires and All the Saints on Saturday; and the mighty Mastodon on Sunday. All of the music will be supplemented by corn-dog-eating contests, a tricycle race, the Queen Corndog pageant and other weird activities. Visit the event website for a complete schedule. Click on Music for more. $7-$35. Thurs., 8 p.m.; Fri., 2 p.m.; Sat.-Sun., noon. 486 Decatur St. 404-577-7721.
