GOGOL BORDELLO may be best-known for jamming onstage with Madonna during her globally televised Live Earth appearances. The eccentric New York troupe plays a ferocious hybrid of gypsy music and Oi!-style punk, and its leader, Eugene Hütz, barks out his vocals like a mad dog. Its concerts are reportedly riotous fun, and have generated a buzz that even attracted Madge. With a tour for its new album, Super Taranta, Gogol Bordello hopes to get the rest of the country to join the party. Dub Trio opens the Fri., OCT. 19, show at the Roxy. $17-$20. 8 p.m. 3110 Roswell Road. 404-233-1062. www.ticketmaster.com.
