See & Do - Music: Henry Rollins February 19 2010

Sun., Feb. 28

Does HENRY ROLLINS have a Pulitzer yet? The one-time singer for L.A. hardcore denizens Black Flag and the Rollins Band now blogs a mighty roar for Vanity Fair when not acting, recording, writing books and traveling the world. Currently on a sweep across the country, Hank’s Frequent Flyer Tour lands in town. Be prepared for a manic spew of political rants, a rapid-fire series of stream-of-consciousness asides, and tales of worldly travels that are at once irate and hilarious. Sarah Palin, the new Tea Party and general American idiocy are all targets when it comes to Rollins’ stand-up. $25. 8 p.m. Variety Playhouse, 1099 Euclid Ave. 404-524-7354. www.variety-playhouse.com.
