Music: King Khan and BBQ

Fri., Nov. 21

KING KHAN AND BBQ (aka Mark Sultan) are the Batman and Robin, McCain and Palin, and peanut butter and chocolate of garage rock – a dark and dangerous duo that wreaks havoc on the hearts and minds of America. Khan (guitar/vocals) and BBQ (guitar/drums/vocals) reunite for another round of pure, unadulterated thump, stomp and ramshackle rock 'n' roll Fri., NOV. 21. Together they unleash a primitive wall of sound that barrels forward no matter what the cost, and no matter how bloodied their audience becomes in the process. Local bands the Barberries, Baby Dinosaurs..., the N.E.C., and Johnny Buffalo and the Mutinous Noise also perform. $10-$15. 9 p.m. Lenny's Bar, 486 Decatur St. 404-577-7721.
