Music: Night Driving in Small Towns

Fri., May 21

The walking dead descend upon Virginia-Highland for a zombie dance party celebrating Valdosta indie-rock duo NIGHT DRIVING IN SMALL TOWNS' latest CD, Serial Killer. Shane Morton, aka Professor Morte of Silver Scream Spook Show, provides free, gory makeup jobs, and a photographer will be on hand to preserve the moment so you can always remember the night you saw how the other half lived. Oryx & Crake open the show, and Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun finish the night with a show of hard and fast electro-dance music jams. Pay the cover charge and get a free copy of NDIST's Serial Killer. $8. 8:00 p.m. The Highland Inn Ballroom Lounge, 644 N. Highland Ave. 404-874-5756.
