Music: Passion Pit

Wed., June 9

Boston-based electro-pop darlings PASSION PIT make their way back through Atlanta for another round in support of last year's breakthrough CD, Manners (Columbia/French Kiss). Frontman Michael Angelakos and his crew of touring bandmates give an extra punch to the breezy songwriter thing with synthesizer beats and uplifting pop dynamics that have made the group an indie sensation. Each song builds around Angelekos' triumphant falsettos, which are geared more for dance floor consumption than for a rock show. Canada's leading indie haircuts Tokyo Police Club peel through a set of fey pop fodder, and Brooklyn trio BRAHMS opens with slick and stylish '80s-afflicted synth pop. $23. 8 p.m. Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St. 800-745-3000.
