Now in its second year, the SOCO MUSIC EXPERIENCE returns for discerning adults 21 and over. Keen observers will note that the weekend’s lineup, scheduled to unfurl Fri.-Sat., MAY 11-12, pales to last year’s edition, which offered a reunion concert by power-pop pioneers Big Star. (But you can’t argue with a free festival.) The bands on display – including Led Zeppelin sound-a-like Wolfmother on Friday and blunted rap kings Cypress Hill on Saturday – should make for pleasantly high times. Free.
