Although born in Alexandria, Va., indie-pop and Americana songstress Neko Case is most closely aligned with Canadian indie-rock institutions. Since moving to Vancouver in 1994, and spending time in punk and indie rock bands, including Cub with I Am Spoonbender’s Robynn Iwata, as well as the New Pornographers, a veritable supergroup that includes A.C. Newman and Dan Bejar, Case has coolly become the queen of Canadian indie pop. For this tour, Case visits Atlanta on Thurs., Oct. 24, following the release of her sixth LP, The Worse Things Get….
