Music

Most people remember the late-'80s era for the funny haircuts, parachute pants and crazy dance styles like the Running Man. Since new jack swing encompassed a time in R&B history but didn't necessarily define it, two of the artists appearing in the New Jack SWING Reunion Tour on Feb. 24 don't even make that kind of music. (We're talking about smooth R&B groups After 7 and Blackstreet.) Of course, Guy -- Damion and Aaron Hall and super-producer Teddy Riley -- epitomize the era, and everybody loves Tony! Toni! Tone! $45.50-$75. 8 p.m. Atlanta Civic Center, 395 Piedmont Ave. 404-523-6275. www.atlantaciviccenter.com.
