Nine Inch Nails at Philips Arena

October 25, 2013
On the heels of releasing Nine Inch Nails' first post-retirement album, Hesitation Marks, Trent Reznor led the group through a hallucinatory spectacle of lights, smoke, shredded power chords, and industrial rhythms at Philips Arena Oct. 24th. The set came together as well-curated trek through the group’s catalogue: More recent Nine Inch Nails numbers, such as “Copy Of A” and “1,000,000,” were wrapped together in a slick, stark sonic rumble alongside a career-spanning set that included “Terrible Lie,” “Wish,” “March Of the Pigs,” and more. The group even threw in a cover of David Bowie’s “I’m Afraid Of Americans” for the encore.
