The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center Buford, GA features an exhibition of hundreds rugs from the 19th-century to present that feature a range of subjects, from abstract compositions to traditional subjects. Accompanying the exhibition are individual and group opportunities for workshops and hands on activities for the full range of skill levels. The exhibit kicks off with the Hook-In on April 14, 2012, featuring Gail Dufresne, National Association of Traditional Hooking Artists President. The exhibition is organized by the Atlanta Dogwood Association of Hooking Artists in partnership with the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center. ArtWorks! Gwinnett serves as promotional partner.
