Old King Cole (Younger), Ghetto Cross (feat. Bradford Cox of Deerhunter + Cole Alexander of Black Lips), and Atlas Sound, + DJ sets from Cole, Bradford, and Jared Swilley

When: Tue., Aug. 21, 9 p.m. 2012
Price: Free
Ghetto Cross is the pairing of Bradford Cox (Deerhunter/Atlas Sound) and Cole Alexander (Black Lips) — a project that came into being many moons ago but has been quietly simmering on the back burner until now. What exactly they have up their sleeves for this show remains to be seen, but this performance, and indeed their very presence, is driven by an intense desire to push creativity and spontaneity to the jagged fringes of pop music's avant-garde in the deep American South. Atlas Sound and Old King Cole (Younger) perform as well. The night ends with DJ sets from Cole, Bradford, and Jared Swilley.
