Forrest Jacobs had been known around Atlanta for over 60 years. His paintings are typically oil on canvas, but he has also done watercolors, pastels, and several other mediums. Along with one man exhibitions at the High Museum and other places and illustrations for books, he painted stage sets for the Cobb-Marietta Ballet and painted murals for Mt. Paran Church of God, a 9’x54’ mural in Bracebridge, Ontario, and a 6'x12' mural which now hangs in the Lumkin County Elementary School. Additionally, his works are in the personal collections of many around metro-Atlanta and in various schools and businesses.
