Spirits and the Melchizedek Children and Order of the Owl celebrate the arrival of a brand new split 7-inch, and it’s a harmonious merger to be sure. Spirits’ song “Look†is a soft and spacious number that communes with the stars via psych-folk crooning and blue grooves steeped in haunted reverb. Owls tighten up the monstrous sludged-out and distorted grooves of “Cocaine Super Demon.†Fellow locals Nigredo set the night in motion.
