Bring your own canoe or kayak and join the National Park Service for a leisurely paddle on the Chattahoochee River. Our down-river journey will take us past Woodland Native American village sites, the location were Sherman’s Troops outflanked the Confederate Army, suburban homes, and forests of extraordinary beauty. There are 4 mild class 1.5 rapids suitable for beginners along this part of the river.
