Picturing New York features nearly 150 photographs made by some of the most important figures in the medium, including Lewis Hine, Berenice Abbott, Walker Evans, Harry Callahan, and Diane Arbus. For Picturing the South, the High Museum commissioned work from photographers Martin Parr, Kael Alford, and Shane Lavalette.
