Le Vigne at Montaluce will delight diners with a menu full of surprises this winter. Chef Steven Hartman has crafted a seasonal three-course prix-fixe menu featuring the best of locally-sourced produce and protein, available during dinner service Friday and Saturday. For example, his smoked trout dish, seemingly a staple, involves preserved lemons packed in a salt to sugar ratio and aged for four weeks, bringing out distinct and delectable flavors. The truffled grit cake is comprised of a mushroom ragu made from mushrooms in Montaluce’s own garden, added to organic grits, preserved tomatoes and sarvecchio sartori, and parmesan from Wisconsin.
