Pujol, Turf War, Colossal Heads
Tuesday October 2, 2012 08:00 PM EDT
Cost: $7
From the venue:
Tennessean garage-punk next gen. luminary, Daniel Pujol embraces high-octane/lo-fi rock ‘n’ roll like the Oblivians, Jay Reatard, and the rest of his home state’s Goner Records legacy before him. Last year’s Saddle Creek debut, Nasty, Brutish, and Short, was a hook-filled party anthem, but his latest, United States of Being, shows off a bit of more maturate - but only a little. Atlanta’s resident Southern punk torchbearers Turf War steal the show. Colossal Heads also perform. Shark? plays late.
