Quench your piehole

THE DIGS: Piebar, 2160 Monroe Drive. 404-815-1605.

THE DRINK: The Scroppini

MIXOLOGY: The Scroppini, which celebrates the balmy yet blistering basking of the Mediterranean, combines the heady effervescence of Italian sparkling wine, the zest of lemon sorbet and the unctuous must of grappa (pomace brandy). This tangy drink, like a sea breeze, prickles yet soothes.

VIBE: The Sydney Opera House. Denver International Airport. A traveling Cirque du Soleil production. Those are but a few of the architectural icons one is reminded of when approaching Piebar's blue-tinted tents flown atop the renovated Trust Company of Georgia bank's drive-thrus.
