Author KRISTIN GORE is a funny gal, and so is Samantha Joyce, the quirky hypochondriac heroine from Gore’s debut novel, Sammy’s Hill and its follow-up due out this month, Sammy’s House. Both books deal with calamity on Capitol Hill, and there’s no question that Gore, a former “Saturday Night Live” writer, has a comedic gift.
