Headed by Tony Tang, "Atlanta's only master sushi chef," this restaurant offers what its staff would call "Above the standard sushi." For the most part, they are right. The yellowtail is fat and buttery on the tongue, and the sake list is also a high point. The problem, however, arrives when you move past the sushi bar. Fusing of menu items just doesn't cut it anymore. The tilapia wrap, for example, combines a sun-dried tomato tortilla with wasabi and tartar sauce. For fresh fish and sake selection, Rise beats the competitors by a mile. Just stay away from the tortillas.
