Theater

Midnight movie showings of The Rocky Horror Show are such a blast that you don’t have to be a mad scientist from the planet Transsexual to realize that a stage version of the famed cult movie could leave audiences trembling with anticipation. Opening Sept. 16, Dad’s Garage Theatre’s production casts Geoffrey Brown as “sweet transvestite” Dr. Frank-N-Furter, with Joey Ellington and Jessie Dougherty as white-bread Brad and Janet. Supposedly, it’s the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane. $18-$23. Thurs.-Sat., 8 p.m. Through Oct. 22. 280 Elizabeth St. 404-523-3141. www.dadsgarage.com.
