"Irreverent" and "fast-paced" are not usually words associated with Waiting for Godot author Samuel Beckett, but Collective Works offers an unconventional look at the gloomy playwright with THE COMPLETE LOST WORKS OF SAMUEL BECKETT, opening DEC. 8. The lighthearted, award-winning production, originally co-produced by Chicago's hilarious theatrical troupe the Neo-Futurists, presents Beckett's allegedly rediscovered works, including his earliest play, Happy Happy Bunny Visits Sad Sad Owl, and features Atlanta funnyman George Faughnan. Part of Atlanta's Year of Beckett festival. $15. Through Dec. 16. Showtimes vary, see website. Dad's Garage Theatre, 280 Elizabeth St., Suite C-101. 404-523-3141. www.myspace.com/collectiveworks.
