Drive-in Movie Festival
If aliens, cheerleaders and Elvis don't make you feel like an American during Labor Day -- well, nothing will. DRIVE-INVASION at Starlight Six Drive-In SEPT. 1-3 features three nights of music, B-movies and food. Beginning at 3 p.m. each day, performances feature local bands such as the Young Antiques, the Moto-Litas, the Woggles and the Belmont Playboys. Films from the '50s, '60s and '70s include The Blob, Jailhouse Rock, Invasion of the Saucer Men and Faster! Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, with appearances by the stars of the movie, Tura Satana, Haji and Lori Williams. (See Flicks). On Sunday, the Atlanta Road Kings host a Dixie Fried Car Show.
