Visual Arts: National Archives Exhibit

Like the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. I Have a Dream exhibit at the Atlanta History Center, EYEWITNESS -- AMERICAN ORIGINALS FROM THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES chronicles many of our nation's most significant moments through firsthand accounts. Original letters, diaries, audio and film recordings depict America's first struggles for independence, the grisly reality of Nazi concentration camps and our pioneering ventures into the final frontier. The show opened in Atlanta on Fri., Feb. 2, but check it out today, Tues., FEB. 6, at the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, its first stop on a national six-city tour. Through April 29. Free-$8. Mon.-Sat., 9 a.m.-4:45 p.m.; Sun., noon-4:45 p.m. 441 Freedom Parkway. 404-865-7100. www.jimmycarterlibrary.org.
