In Atlanta's premiere of THE IT GIRL, "It" is found in one crackerjack salesgirl who wins a contest and ultimately falls in love with the head of the department store. Atlanta Lyric Theatre continues its 29th season at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre with this musical based on Paramount Motion Pictures' 1927 silver screen classic, It. Through March 22. $30-$35. The Atlanta Preservation Center's sixth annual PHOENIX FLIES: A CITYWIDE CELEBRATION OF LIVING LANDMARKS kicks off more than 100 events, including guided tours, lectures and open houses. Phoenix Flies gives a lesson in Atlanta history by providing patrons with free tours to 36 historic landmarks, including the gothic-inspired buildings of Oglethorpe University, South View Cemetery and Civil Rights sites on the Atlanta University Center college campuses – and did we mention it's all free? After his former band the Smiths disbanded in 1988, Morrissey launched a solo career and has since produced countless top 10 hits and a series of Billboard top 20 albums.
