Jaguares (pronounced ha-GWAR-ays) may be a Mexican band, but don’t expect the cheesy “Latin explosion” music of Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony or J-Lo. Rather than shake a bon bon, Jaguares mix lyrics about social injustice with bombastic blasts reminiscent of the Who, pop-metal guitar licks of Def Leppard, and traditional cumbia beats and salsa rhythms. This is rock en Español, folks, which means lyrics in Spanish only. $39. 8 p.m. EarthLink Live, 1374 W. Peachtree St. 404-885-1365. <a href=”<a href=”http://www.earthlinklive.com/” target=”_blank”%3Ewww.earthlinklive.com%3C/a%3E”>http://www.earthlinklive.com/”>www.earthlinklive.com;. (HK)
