Criminal Records is hosting one of only a handful of nationwide listening parties for ANIMAL COLLECTIVE’s forthcoming Merriweather Post Pavilion, out Jan. 6 (vinyl) and Jan. 20 (CD) via Domino. This is not an AC appearance, just a preview of the album that was recorded in Oxford, Miss.’s Sweet Tea Recording Studio with Atlanta producer Ben Allen (Gnarls Barkley, All the Saints).
