Tellabration!, Guy Fieri and more

November 21 Saturday

Eat like a king at Taste Network’s PRIMAL ATLANTA, an outdoor celebration of fire-cooked meats and the art of butchering. Attendees will enjoy the smoky, savory flavors of a variety of roasted meats cooked over an open fire by local chefs from Muss & Turner’s, Parish, Grindhouse Killer Burgers and more. Professional butchers will be on hand to demonstrate how to break down a pig, cow, goat and lamb in a celebration of whole-animal cuisine. And no meaty meal would be complete without exclusive wines and craft beer. $55-$100. 6 p.m. SweetWater Brewing Company, 195 Ottley Drive. 404-849-3569. www.artofthebutcher.com. (Quatoyiah Murry)

November 21 Saturday

In the grand old tradition of storytelling – before it started coming from the mouth of a sock puppet, that is – the Southern Order of Storytelling presents TELLEBRATION!, a night of storytelling for grown-ups. Emcee Deborah Strahorn and Southern storytellers Tom Daly, Eenee Ferrano and Linda Martin promise not to bore. And any storytelling that doesn’t include some kind of mascot leading sing-alongs is always a plus. 8 p.m. $10. Carter Library, 441 Freedom Parkway. 404-869-9863. www.southernorderofstorytellers.org. November 23 Monday

Food Network’s celebrated chef and author GUY FIERI takes a break from diners, drive-ins and ultimate showdowns to perform a high-energy rock ‘n’ roll concert centered on food. Following Australian bartender and opening act Hayden “Woody” Wood, Fieri takes the stage with an entertaining performance complete with demos, interactive cooking stations, behind-the-scenes stories of dining on the road, and more. Be sure to bring your appetite. $25-$250. 8 p.m. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway. 800-745-3000. www.cobbenergycentre.com. (Quatoyiah Murry)
