Brooklyn's YEAH YEAH YEAHS (pictured), an inheritor of Sonic Youth's noise-rock tradition, earned acclaim earlier this year for its new album Show Your Bones. Currently on tour, the trio brings its art-star shtick to the Tabernacle on OCT. 14 and has invited a special guest to open in addition to Southern California folk musician Imaad Wasif. Lead singer Karen O. recently professed her love of Deerhunter in Fader magazine, so she's giving one of Atlanta's most exciting and unique indie-rock bands a chance to perform in front of its biggest audience to date. In the spirit of Halloween, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are also playing an acoustic four-song "Imposter Party" at Criminal Records the afternoon before the show, where fans who dress up like the three Yankees can have their pictures taken with the band. Concert: $26. 8 p.m. Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St. 404-249-6400. www.ticketmaster.com. Criminal Records party: Free. 3 p.m. 466 Moreland Ave. 404-215-9511.
