As for the food to go with that beer, Slice & Pint is not “just another pizza joint.” There’s a green curry pizza, housemade Riverview Farms pork rillettes, even a salad of kale and quinoa tabouleh. Words like pasture-raised, local, seasonal, and (most prominently) housemade pop up all over the menu. It’s surprising at first, but the globe-hopping, locavore vibe is refreshing when compared to the myriad Neapolitan-style joints that have sprung up all over town in the past several years.
