Stand Up for Reproductive Justice

When: Sat., April 12, 7 p.m. 2014
Price: $35
Back when the band of pop-rock activists BETTY debuted in the mid-’80s, the equal rights issues they were advocating for kept them on the cultural fringe. Today, the band is known more broadly as “The L Word” theme-song composers and stars of their own off-Broadway show. Still equally dedicated to grassroots causes, they’re headlining the Feminist Health Center’s annual awards benefit Stand up for Reproductive Justice on Sat., April 12, at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta. Atlanta’s own diva-licious Madam CJ opens.
