Summer Guide 2010: Road Trip!

Travel light, and don’t get any on ya!

Staycations are soooo 2009. For this year's Summer Guide, CL's writers, critics and editors hit the road to dish on eight of their favorite destinations throughout the Southeast. Lest we forget our own state's hidden gems, we've also included six of Georgia's best day trips for shopping, boozing and cruising, not to mention some of the Peach State's wildest roadside attractions. Oh, and a list of the summer's best festivals and events and some (ahem) insightful ideas on how to pass the time on a road trip. We also asked to hear about your best road trip moments and offered some pretty decent swag in return – free passes to Bonnaroo anyone? Check out the winners on the opposite page.
