Theater festival
The fifth NEW BLACK PLAYWRIGHT'S FESTIVAL presents original works by emerging local and national black playwrights JULY 15-17 at Actor's Express. Two staged readings, Atlantan Tamira Onfroy's Ortho and Eighty Six by Javon Johnson from Chicago, will begin at 6 p.m. July 15. The following night, a staged reading of Colors of Painting by Sherry Williams will begin at 8 p.m., and Lynwood Jenkins' Wishing for Wings begins at 8 p.m. July 17.
